Panel: Fundraising for the Rest of Us

This is a Past Event
Fundraising for the Rest of Us
There's human services, religion, and education. For everything else, there's this panel.

When donors hear the word "nonprofit," many typically think of those organizations that raise money for human services, such as preventing teen suicide, feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, etc. In fact, according to the 2019 Giving USA report, the top three categories for charitable dollars are human services, education, and religious organizations.

But how do fundraising strategies differ for those nonprofit organizations that are not listed in these top three categories? How should nonprofits approach donors and philanthropists for causes such as environmental conservation, animal welfare, arts, culture, and more?

Join us for our first panel of 2020 as our panelists aim to answer these questions and more! Our incredible speakers will deliver insights on various fundraising strategies and focus on how nonprofits can appeal to donors for causes unrelated to human services. Light refreshments and networking opportunities will be provided!
