About the Instructor

Dr. Benisa Berry, Diversity and Inclusion Officer, John F. Kennedy University

As a strategic leader and thought partner, Dr. Berry supports institutional capacity building for leveraging diversity and fostering inclusion in the workplace, academic learning environment and community. In addition to her service in higher education, including a core faculty role at Alliant International University, Dr. Berry has twenty years experience in management consulting and leadership. As Principal Consultant for Berry Consulting Services, Dr. Berry has coached leaders, developed teams and facilitated strategy and culture alignment for effectiveness and business performance improvement. She has supported diversity initiatives with client organizations such as IBM, Chevron, BNP Paribas Bank and the US Department of Transportation. With over fifteen years at Kaiser Permanente, she also served in management consulting roles as well as leadership roles including Statewide Compliance Director, Compliance Strategy and Culture Director and Practice Leader for Ethics and Integrity. A native Californian, Dr. Berry resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
