After participating in the White House Upskilling Summit on April 24, Maricopa Corporate College (MCOR) president, Dr. Eugene Giovannini, has committed to increasing MCOR’s efforts to address Arizona’s workforce needs.
Where there are gaps in business training, Maricopa Community Colleges is ready to fill in the training with programs from the new Maricopa Corporate College and Rio Salado College.
The two higher education institutions are offering context-based training customized for business needs.
In addition to their traditional and online offerings, the 10 Maricopa Community Colleges are creating a central “corporate college” to address demand for employee training at Valley businesses.
The Maricopa Community Colleges will launch a center dedicated to workforce training that could raise money for the district and meet a need in the business community.
