Diversity and Inclusion Series
In this workshop, participants will explore diversity and the effects diversity has on the workplace. Participants will discuss the importance of inclusion and practice skills necessary to work in a culturally and generationally diverse workforce. Participants will explore their own behaviors, beliefs, and attitudes that create barriers to workplace productivity and inclusion.

This session covers foundational knowledge on respect, inclusion, and professional conduct at work. It also explores the role of emotional intelligence in effective communication and key traits for building a culture of belonging.

This session expands on foundational knowledge on diversity, equity, and inclusion at work. Inclusive leadership training can help leaders develop the ability to connect with people from different backgrounds, which can foster a more empathetic and inclusive workplace culture, where all employees feel valued, respected, and heard.
Objectives
- Define diversity, equity, and inclusion and describe the difference between these 3 terms.
- Identify the leadership traits and competencies that are the core of Inclusive Leadership.
- Review the roles of structural inclusion, identity inclusion, and sociopolitical inclusion as they relate to fostering collaboration in organizations.
- Develop a plan to utilize knowledge and skills gained in the course to be a more inclusive leader.
