Campus NAvigator - Semiconductor Program
As a Campus Navigator for the Semiconductor Program, Mawiyah believes in education and providing students, staff, and faculty the best customer service she can. She also believes in supporting the needs of an organization both for internal/external customers. Originally from the Midwest of Flint, Michigan, Mawiyah has held residency in the state of Arizona for 5 years to date. Mawiyah (pronounced Ma-Wee-Yah) has worked with elementary/secondary education as an After-School Program Facilitator (for at-risk students), Substitute Teacher, High School Secretary, and fellow Girl Scout. For the past 10 years her work experience includes Postsecondary/Higher education as a Success Coach, Advisor, Admissions Representative, and Registrar Services Administrator. Along with working for MCCCD in Workforce Development, she also works as an Instructional Assistant for Grand Canyon University. Mawiyah received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Davenport University, and her Master's Degree in Public Administration from University of Michigan (GO BLUE!). In her free time she enjoys a good Netflix movie, writing, and walking outdoors. As a serial FOODIE she also enjoys trying to cook new TikTok food recipes and various restaurants in the area.
