Our HR Professional program is offered in partnership with Maricopa County, provides you with training and industry-recognized certifications to prepare you for entry-level roles at no cost to you! Aligned with HRCI standards, the course introduces industry-recognized HR practices and core concepts, including employment and labor laws, compliance and risk management, hiring and talent acquisition, employee relations, and human resources operations. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be prepared to test for the following certification:

What is an HR Professional?
An HR Professional plays a vital role in supporting both employees and organizational success. From hiring and onboarding to compliance and employee relations, HR professionals help ensure workplaces function smoothly, ethically, and effectively. In an entry-level role, they support essential HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment and interviewing, training coordination, benefits and payroll administration, and employee relations.

The HR Professional training is offered in-person over 12 weeks at the following location:
Surprise
Dates: June 1 - August 21
Days: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
Times: 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Job Outlook
According to the U.S. Department of Labor, employment of human resources specialists is projected to grow 6 percent from 2024 to 2034, faster than the average for all occupations.
About 81,800 openings for human resources specialists are projected each year across all industries, on average, over the decade. Many of those openings are expected to result from the need to replace workers who transfer to different occupations or exit the labor force, such as to retire.
The median annual wage for human resources specialists was $72,910 in May 2024. Keep in mind that pay rates vary depending on geographic location and experience.
