What is Workforce 2 You?

Workforce 2 You is an award-winning partnership between Maricopa Community Colleges and Maricopa County, delivering industry-recognized training at local libraries and community centers across rural Maricopa County. Build job-ready skills, earn credentials, and access career support, all without the commute.

Workforce 2 You has earned national recognition from the National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB) with the 2025 Community College Partnership Award, local recognition from WESTMARC as a Best of the West Finalist, and recognition within the Maricopa Community Colleges as District Office Innovation of the Year.

Classes have already started in all locations. Future dates and locations are TBD.

Workforce 2 You brings career training programs into different rural Maricopa County communities each year. In 2026, we have the following training options available, designed to meet the industry needs of each community. Participants in all programs are required to complete the Workforce Professional Skills microcredential to gain essential workforce skills to complement their program-specific learning.
