In this two-hour workshop, we'll discuss how to build personal resilience to prevent burnout, traumatic stress, and compassion fatigue. This includes common stressors in our lives, how our nervous system reacts to stress, and how these factors can lead to emotional burnout and compassion fatigue. By utilizing key self-regulation techniques and reflective skills, we can each actively decrease mental distress and reduce the negative effects of traumatic stress, burnout and compassion fatigue.
