In this workshop, you will learn to:
- Understand the role of cause selling in today’s market
- Learn the steps in cause selling and the purpose of each step
- Develop principles upon which to base ethical behavior
- Identify the sources of influence for fundraisers on their behavior
- Understand your role in maintaining the ethical position of the organization and behaving in an ethical manner toward donors
About the Instructor:
Torrie A. Taj, is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and a passionate and dedicated professional with more than 25 years in nonprofit leadership and philanthropy and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer at Child Crisis Arizona. Since 2010, Torrie has served as faculty at Arizona State University teaching Nonprofit Leadership and Development. She serves on the board of directors as past president of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Greater Arizona Chapter. She was honored as the Outstanding Fundraising Executive in 2015 by AFP. She has special expertise in initiating, developing and managing comprehensive fundraising and communications programs; improving public relations and image rebranding in order to secure business partnerships, philanthropic and community support.
