Virtual and Online Career Training Programs

Career Training from the Comfort of Your Home

 

Thank you for your partnership as we aim to provide free, virtual and online career training opportunities for parents, low-income workers, and those who are unemployed throughout the Valley!

TECHNOLOGY
  • Computer Support Boot Camp (Virtual): This 140-hour program is held either 2 or 4 days per week and prepares participants for a high-demand IT career! In this class, we'll cover an Introduction to IT Concepts, preparation for the CompTIA® A+ and Network+® certifications, and provide resume writing and interview skills. The program also includes the cost of the certification exams and a guaranteed job interview upon successful completion! Note: This program is eligible for both WIOA funding (low-income workers and unemployed) and SWFI funding (parents with children 13 or younger).
HEALTHCARE
  • Medical Administrative Assistant with EHR (Online): This online program helps prepare participants for the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) and Certified Electronic Health Record Specialist (CEHRS) credentials. As a self-paced program, students can complete this program in as little as 2 or 3 months. Note: This program is eligible for WIOA funding (low-income workers and unemployed).​​​​​
     
  • Medical Office Manager (Online): This online program will prepare participants to earn the Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist (CEHRS) and Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) credentials. As a self-paced program, students can complete this program in as little as 3 or 4 months. Note: This program is eligible for WIOA funding (low-income workers and unemployed).
     
  • Medical Transcription Editor (Online): This online program trains participants to be both a medical transcriptionist and a medical transcription editor. As a self-paced program, students can complete this program in as little as 4 months. Note: This program is eligible for WIOA funding (low-income workers and unemployed).
