This program can be taken from either a Mac or a PC. It is compatible with the Windows XP and later operating systems, Internet Explorer 8 or later, Firefox, Chrome, or Safari. There are no specific computer requirements other than an Internet connection, e-mail account, and Microsoft Word for assignment submissions. We recommend that you use the latest version of Internet Explorer in place of other Web browsers.

Richard Blum has over 25 years of experience in the computer industry as both a programmer and systems administrator. He has worked on large-scale applications used by thousands of customers, as well as small websites used for personal content. He has supported servers in the Windows, Linux, and Unix environments used for database, Web, and network applications for a large corporation.
He is currently the instructor for several online Web development courses, including courses on website design, PHP, Ruby on Rails, and Ajax technology.
Randy Rolen has been designing and coding websites from the ground up since 1993. He has created over 50 websites, many that comprised more than 240 total webpages, including bulletin board systems and shopping cart online ordering. He has been teaching online courses since 2002.
